Obituary

Jerry Franklin was born on February 20, 1950 in Lubbock, Texas to the parentage of Richard Wilson and Rosie Lee Rainwater.

He was a former student at Dunbar High School and Estacado High School. After high school he attended Draughon's Business College studying computer operations. Afterwards he began a career with Lubbock National Bank working in the systems operations department for more than 8 years.

He moved to Dallas, Tx in 1984, which he started working for Texas Credit Union League/Southwest Corporation as an IT computer operator and then promoted to supervisor. He stayed there until his retirement. During his work history, he met his lovely wife to be, Patricia Jackson. Before approaching Patricia, Jerry watched her for several years. He then married her in 1985 after their short courtship. Jerry stated that he would be there for her and he did until the end. They were married for 37 years until God called him home.
