Jerome Rias was born on January 24, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan to the union of Drayton David Rias Jr. and Barbara Jean Rias who preceded him in death. Tim accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from Southeastern High School and studied Culinary Arts at Henry Ford College. Later in life, Tim pursued a career in Truck driving and moved to Texas to work as an Instructor at Stevens Transport. He accomplished his dream of owning his own trucking business. He was family-oriented and enjoyed cooking in his spare time. He loved entertaining and spending quality time with his wife BAE, family, and friends. He never met a stranger. Tim leaves behind his wife De'Antoinette Rias, together they shared a happy and joyful life. Together they had a baby Rias who preceded him in death. Honey Rias is their fur baby.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his loving wife, De'Antoinette Rias, brothers, Michael Rias (Linda), Darnell Rias (Arolyn), Leon Price Jr. Sisters: Veronica and Charlene Windom, Special Nephews, Emile Rias and Darnell Rias Jr. Special Nieces, Tywynesha and Tatyana Wright. God-daughter Destinee Ratledge, and fur baby, Honey Rias, and a host of family and friends.
