Jerline Jackson
Davis
September 15, 1936 – December 9, 2024
Jerline Jackson (Jeri) was born September 15, 1936 in Dallas, Texas, to the proud parents of Leon and Gertrude Jackson. She attended grade school in New Mexico until she moved back to Dallas, Texas and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.
She met the love of her life, John H. Davis and the two were joined together and became one. They were married over 65 years. She worked at Methodist Dallas Medical Center as a nurse over 30 years.
Jeri was a faithful and active member of the Church of Christ for many years until health declined. Even then, she participated when she could. She was a member of the Cliff View Church of Christ at the time of her passing.
Jeri loved God, her family, her church family and friends. Although she had limited mobility she would use her phone as a tool to keep up with everybody.
Jeri was preceded in death by her parents. She was an only child. She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband John, two daughters, Sherry and Chantel Davis; one son, John Sibley (Antoinette). Four grandchildren, Natashia Miller (Sammy, Jr.), Christopher Davis, Andrea Nolan (Chase) and John Ryan Sibley. Eight great- grandchild; Sammy III and Sam Marie Miller; Ariana, Jakiya, and Nyla Davis; Asten and Azaiah Nolan and Carlisa Sibley. She had one special Godson, Gary Summerfield. She also leaves to cherish a host of other relatives and friends.
