Jaylon De'Angelo Taylor was born in Garland, Texas, to the parents of Alberta Dyer and late Penona Taylor. He attended Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas.

Jaylon joined Greater Ideal Baptist Church under the Pastorship of Jermaine L. Simms. He remained a member until his death.

Preceding him in death are his father, Penona Taylor, and grandparents, Polly Taylor and Milburn Oliver.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Alberta "Tookie" Dyer II; grandmother, Alberta Dyer I; brother, Delvin Spearman;
and a host of aunts, uncles, many relatives, and loving friends.
