James, better known to his family and friends as "Greg," was born in Dallas, Texas on July 3, 1966 to the parentage of James Lynn and Gail Lynn-Jones. Greg was the baby of the family, the youngest of four children. James, Sr., his father, and brother, Darin, both preceded him in death.

James professed his faith in Christ at an early age and received his Christian teachings throughout his childhood at Galilee Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

Greg was educated at South Oak Cliff High School.

Greg was well known and had many friends; Greg was the light of the party ALWAYS with a BIG SMILE and would give you the shirt off his back. Greg loved life and loved people. Greg never met a stranger; Greg was ALWAYS there for his family. Greg loved his nieces and nephews.

Greg was an entrepreneur; he owned a small courier company with an impressive clientele list of whom will truly miss him and his GREAT customer service in working with people.

In parting this life, Greg leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Gail Lynn Jones (Roy); sisters, Quajuana and Tyne; nieces, Quena and Tai; nephews, Pac and Little Brother and uncles and aunts, cousins and friends and his grandmother.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Saturday, August 25, 2012 11:00am at LadaleBaptist Church, 3323 CanadaDrive, Dallas,Texas
