James leaves to cherish his memories: his sisters, Deborah Peterson of Dallas, Texas; Loretta Peterson of Terrell, Texas, Venita Peterson of Dallas, Texas and Shelia Ivery of Dallas, Texas; uncle, Ray Smith; aunt, Lois Banks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
James was preceded in death by: his mother, Alvis Mitchell; father, James B. Green; son, James O'Ceithon Whitaker.
