James Ella Boyd was born January 15, 1945 in Omaha, TX to the parentage of O.J. (Bright) Arthur and Priella Rainey. She is preceded in death by her mother, father and her siblings: Robert L. Woods, Robert L. Arthur, Mary Greer, Hattie McGee, Tommie Rainey, William Harold Rainey, Judy Watson and Ellen Walker.

James Ella Boyd leaves to mourn her: two sons; Rodney Paul Boyd of Cedar Hill and Monticue Boyd III of Dallas, sisters; Zella Young, Lealus Brooks, Hattie Goodman, and Imogene Hill of Dallas, Linda Pleasant of Omaha, Barbara Curtis of Cason, Lutricia Peters, Drucilla Vealsey of Daingerfield, Patricia Brown of Hughes Springs, Canotha Williams of Lone Star, Lois Elliott and Lillie Luster of Mt. Pleasant, Charlie Mae York of Niagara Falls, NY, brothers; James Arthur of Dallas, Daniel Arthur, Michael Arthur of Omaha, Norris Fleming of Abilene and H.B. Fleming of Kentucky and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
