Our loving mother, Inez Jones, passed away on February 9, 2023. Inez Jones was surrounded by loved ones when she transitioned from earth to glory. Inez Jones, was born to Bishop Milton & Bernice Jones on April 20, 1952 in Dallas, TX. She was the 3rd of 13 children. At a young age, Inez became a member of Deliverance Revival Tabernacle Holiness Church. She faithfully supported the church for over 60 years by participating in various auxiliaries. She sang alto in the Senior Choir; she was a Sunday School teacher, Youth Leader, Pastor & Wife Anniversary Committee member, and one of the first directors of the Primary Choir. Her last role was an inspirational member of the Mother's Board. Inez received her education through the Dallas ISD. She was a proud South Oak Cliff alumna. After graduation, Inez was an employee of Sears Roebuck, Neiman Marcus, and she provided childcare services for more than 10 years. She retired from United Health Care after 20 years of service in 2017. Inez Jones was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others, especially children. That passion led to her serving as a crossing guard with Mansfield ISD until her health began to fail. A loyal servant to God, Inez spent many hours dedicating her life to encouraging others. Inez was a graceful, classy, and feisty woman who gave birth to four children who she raised to love and honor God. Later in her life, Inez reconnected with her first love JB Hollison. The two united in holy matrimony in 2004. It was during this marriage that she experienced genuine, true love. Inez's most precious moments were spent with her beloved children and ten grandchildren. She spoiled them and made sure everyone knew about their accomplishments. She never missed an opportunity to brag about her children and her grands. Inez was preceded in death by her husband JB Hollison, parents Bishop Milton & Bernice Jones, and one brother Ivan Jones. She is survived by her children: La'Tarsha Jones (Mark I), Michael Sewell Sr. (LeKeysha), Nashika Tabor (MaKelvin), and La'Sheryl McGuire (Petrick), 10 grands: Tavian Washington (Bre'Anna), Ashley Ross (D'Torrion), Michael Sewell Jr., Marcellus Sewell, Nickolas Jones, Morgan Jones, Kayden McGuire, Lauryn Jones, Preston McGuire, Nahlia Tabor, and 1 great grandchild Parker Aiden Washington. She will be deeply missed by her one and only sister Jeanette Andrews (Spencer), 10 brothers: Roy (Diana), Elton (Shelia), David (Sarah), Frederick (Jacqueline), Timothy (Ruby), James (Monique), Benjamin, Eric (Eunese), Michael, Paul (MarShawn), and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, church family and friends and bond sisters.
