Obituary

Illa Vannessa Fields was born to Van D. Fields, Jr. and Vickie Weeks-Fields on April 04, 1986 in Dallas, Texas.

She graduated from Cedar Hill High School in 2004 and continued her education at the Dallas County Community College Cedar Valley and Mountain View Campuses.

She had a passion for helping children and spent her working career in day care. She was a faithful employee to Small Miracle Academy as a child day care teacher. She married DeZerrick McCullough who had four daughters (Elizabeth, Rachel, Naomi, Rebecca) and to this union, God blessed them with one daughter, Tabitha McCullough. She never remarried.

Vannessa loved the lord! She grew up in and was baptized at St. Luke United Methodist Church, where she faithfully attended with her mother throughout her childhood. In her adult life she attended other churches in the Dallas area including Covenant Church and Faith 4 Life Church where she served in the Kid's Ministry.

Her mother (Vickie), father (Van), paternal and maternal grandparents, and Uncle Jimmie Fields and Aunt Patricia Allen, all preceded her in death.

On October 25, 2021 Illa Vannessa departed this life to go home to be with GOD. She leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy one daughter, Tabitha McCullough.
