Mr. Henry Smith found his rest on November 24, 2017. He was born February 28, 1952 in Monroe, LA to the parentage of Henry Vernon Smith and Cynthia Lee Smith. Both proceed him in death along with brothers Tyrone Smith, Timothy McGee, and two that were infants.

Mr. Smith moved to Dallas, TX with his parents at a young age. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in East Dallas. Thereafter, he took interest in becoming an 18 wheeler truck driver and did, working for L & L Dress Manufacturer for many years. Within that time he met and married Leita Williams on April 7, 1976. Their union brought together three children, Willie Booker, Tammy Booker and Kasha Gillespie.

In 1989 he became a truck driver for the United States Postal Service. During his tenure he was honored with receiving "The Safe Driver Award" twice, as well as given recognition of achieving The Most Dependable Insurance Policies Award for "Zero Sick Leave" in 2010. Working for the post office, was his pride and joy among his second family.

He was baptized at an early age, and received Christ as his personal savior on 11/15/17 in the hospital, nine days beforehis passing. He leaves to charish his memory, his wife, Leita Smith, son, Willie Booker, daughter-in-law Dorothy Booker, daughter, Tammy Booker-Culpepper, son-in-law, Robert Culpepper, daughter Kasha Gillespie Dawson, son-in-law, Wilbur Dawson, daughter Aretha Hearn Booker, Grandchildren: Armon Freeman, LaTrent Booker, Camille Johnson, Kimora Booker, Kianna Booker, Briana Culpepper, Darian Culpepper, Thomas Hickson and Breuntonice Hickson; Great-grandchildren: Jase Harris and Zoe Noelle Freeman; Brother, Robert Lee Smith, Sister-in-law, Diane Smith, Brother, Matthew Smith, Brother, Alan Smith, Brother, Warren Smith, Brother Terry McGee and a whole host of neices, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
