Henry Hudson King was born October 24, 1934. He was the eighth child born to Hudson and Nora Carrie King in Nevada County, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Adriek, 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Henry Hudson King was a star basketball and baseball player during his high school years in Arkansas. He later came to Dallas and worked at Martin Sprockett Steel for nearly 40 years.
Henry Hudson accepted his Lord and savior Jesus Christ at an early age with the Baptist faith. He enjoyed praying and ministering in his own way, to many of his friends and family. He loved to sing his favorite songs, including, "Precious Lord."
Later, Henry King was united in Holy Matrimony to his beloved wife Etta Williams. To this union, two sons were born.
On September 4, 2017, God called his faithful servant home. Henry leaves to cherish his memories with his beautiful wife Etta King; sons, Glenn, Mark (Ceceilia), Kenneth (Angela), Phillip (LaWonda), Cedric and Bentley; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Evergreen "Peggy Jo Mayse" Chapel
