Helen Jonice Collins the daughter of the late L.A Johnson and Ardell Perkins born the 1st child of 8 children. As a child she resided in Cuney, Tx.

She attended school in Cuney as an adolescent before transitioning to Dallas, Tx where she attended high school at Lincoln High School of Dallas, Tx and graduated in 1966. She had been employed at Texas Instruments for 35 years where she was a Configuration Manager. She retired and settled into home and family life.

She married Willie Ray Collins December 21st, 1974. On December 21st she would have been celebrating her golden anniversary of 50 yrs.

Helen had one daughter Sheniqua Johnson of Terrell, TX. Helen and her family resided in Dallas, Tx prior to becoming residents in Terrell, Tx where they all lived for the past 23 years. Helen united at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in 2015 and was a member until her transition.

She was preceded in death by her brother Jessie Browning.

She leaves to cherish her husband Willie Collins her Daughter Sheniqua Johnson 2 sisters, Piarenell Bowens of DeSoto, Tx, Joan Curley of Glen Heights, TX. Dewayne Perkins of Dallas, Tx, Gerald Perkins of Dallas, Tx and Erwin Perkins of Garland, Tx and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves to cherish her God Son Javian Cashaw.
