Gwendolyn Wright Sanders, 71, passed on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. She is survived by one son, Byron V. Wright; mother, Mrs. Virdel Wright; one brother, Ronnie Wright; one sister, Sherry Wright and four grandchildren, John-Thomas Wright, Amelia Wright, Nicolas Wright and Josef Wright and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be on Friday, February, 2020 from 3-5 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, Wake is from 7-9 pm at Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 12:30 pm, Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2110 E. 11th Street Dallas, Texas 75203.
