Gloria Jean Howell, Loudermill was born December 8, 1948 to
Eugene Howell, Sr. and Ida Mae Dockery Howell in Columbia
County, Arkansas. Gloria was the oldest child of this union.
Preceded in death are her husband Theodis Loudermill, daughter
Patrice Loudermill, 2 sisters Betty Howell Johnson and Alma
Porcia, three brothers, Doyle Gene, Walter Lee and Ocie Howell.
Gloria received her education in Waldo, Arkansas, the Westside
High School, Class of 1969. Met and married Theodis Loudermill
on July 23, 1968. Four children were born to this union, Tabatha
Loudermill (Oliver), Odis Nikee Loudermill (Julai), and Darron
Loudermill (LaDonna). She accepted Christ at an early age
under the tutelage of Bro. Robert L. James and remained faithful
until her death.
Gloria loved to sing, starting a sister singing group early on, forming
The Howell Sisters at the Westside Church of Christ in Waldo,
Arkansas. Later, became part of the Overton Road Church of
Christ Chorus, and finally a strong Soprano with the Gospel Hour
Choir at Cedar Crest Church of Christ. Gloria loved to cook and
share with neighborhood children. Gloria was an entrepreneur
and loved creating floral arrangements and restoring old furniture.
Gloria leaves in God's care one daughter Tabatha Mitchell, two
sons Odis Nikee and Darron Loudermill. Three grandchildren
Keanna Jones, Christian Loudermill, and Ashley Loudermill and
one Great-grand daughter MacKenzie Wilkerson. Two Brothers
Eugene Howell, Jr., and John Howell, four sisters Edna Williams,
Marye Carr (Arthur), Shirley Thomas (James) and Janis Messer
(Gerren). A very Dear Friend Sister Sandra McCall and a host
nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
