September 9, 1955 – November 30, 2020
Gerald Lynn Gladney was born on September 9, 1955 in Shreveport, LA and transitioned to eternal life on November 30, 2020 at age 65.
Gerald grew up in Cullen, LA and proudly joined the Air Force after high school. He lived in Los Angeles, CA for many years before settling in Kansas City, MO. During Gerald's time in Kansas City, he fellowshipped at Bannister Road Baptist Church and worked until retirement at Ford Motor Company. In 2016, Gerald reconnected with high school classmate, Eloise Allen and the two married.

Gerald was preceded in death by his loving and devoted father, James Douglas Gladney.
Flowers and/or Donation:
Gerald battled with liver disease for several years and after receiving a liver transplant in July 2020, followed by numerous and rare complications, his body succumbed.
In his memory, the family is asking that you consider making a donation to the American Liver Foundation in Gerald's honor. Your donation may be in lieu of, or in addition to, sending flowers. No amount is too small and helps support others who are impacted by liver disease.
