George Garrett transitioned on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was 63 years old and the second oldest of 4 children born to George AKA Georgia Hayes of Dallas, TX.

George accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated his faith at Temple Missionary Baptist Church where Pastor Clay Iglehart is the Pastor.

George attended Lincoln High School and attended Skyline High School but later graduated from Lincoln High School in 1978.

Upon graduation, George enlisted into the US Army as a part of the 82 ^nd Airborne Unit and received numerous awards and medals.

After medically retiring from the US Army, he later worked and retired from the City of Dallas.

In 2007, George met and fell in love and married the love of his life, Kimberly Garrett and became an additional father figure to her children, Keith Jr., Kendle, Kortney and Kara.

George also leaves to cherish his 2 baby sisters, Lily and Lois Hayes and favorite niece and nephew, Francesca and De'Marcus Hayes.

George was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Frances Hayes and older brother, Robert Garrett and a host of relatives and friends.
