Gary Allan Davis was born to the parents of Paul A. Davis and Camelia Davis in Dallas, Texas on January 26, 1953. He received Christ at an early age at the Marsalis Avenue Church of Christ. He went to graduate from James Madison High School. Gary worked for Sears until he retired.

Gary married Joyce E. Gholston-Davis. They were married for 40 years. To this union 2 daughters were born, Marlonda Day and Camelia Rivers.

Gary was preceded in death by both parents; sister, Janell Rambo and brother, Charles McDonald.

Gary leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Joyce Davis; daughters, Marlonda Day (Aaron Day), Camelia Rivers (Patrick Rivers); 5 grandchildren, Alex, Tiffany and Noah Day, Tellis Broussard and Zoe Rivers and a host of relatives.
