On November 8, 1940, God blessed this world with a beautiful soul, Freddie Mae Branch. On August 5, 2026, after 85 years of love, sacrifice, faith, strength, and devotion, she peacefully competed her earthly journey.

Freddie was born to the late Benson Davis and Mary Alma Davis, from the beginning her life would become one defined by family, hard work and an unwavering love for those she held close to her heart. To know Freddie was to know a woman of strength. She carried herself with determination and grace, and through every season of life, she remained devoted to the people she loved the most.

Freddie was a hardworking and dedicated woman, she understood the importance of providing for her family and took pride in her work. She was employed with Jerrell Clothing Company for 10 years before beginning a long career serving within the school system. She worked for Wilmer-Hutchins ISD for many years and later continued her career with Desoto ISD, where she remained until her retirement.

Her faith was a cornerstone in her life. Freddie was a member of New Leaf Baptist Church until 1981. She later became a faithful member of True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, which later became True Gospel Ministries for more than 42 years. Her faith carried her though many seasons. Even when her health began to decline and she was no longer able to attend, her faith and church family remained a meaningful part of her life.

She experienced both joy and sorrow throughout her life with the loss of her daughter Sandra Gail Davis, her parents Benson Davis and Mary Alma Davis, and her sisters, Ellan Neal Alexander and Willie NellWright.

Although she endured loss, Freddie continued to stand strong for her family. She remained a source of love to her children; Regina Branch, Dexter (Sandra), Tonya Branch (Sicily), Kendall Branch and Tameka Branch Johnson (Tyrone). She also leaves to cherish her precious memory of her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin and a host of relatives and friend. Freddie Mar Branch was much more than the  dates that linked her birth and passing. She was a woman who put God and family first. She gave those around her memories that can never be taken away.
