Mrs. Frances Marie Richardson Pendegraft transitioned to eternal life on August 30, 2012. She was the first of two children to Dorothy Marie Stone and Maynard Richardson Sr. born on October 12, 1939. She attended Booker T. Washington High School of Dallas, TX where she cheered and later graduated in 1957. She was raised in a Christian home and baptized at an early age where she was a faithful member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church. On April 4, 1957, she married Jimmie Pendegraft, Jr. They were married for 55 years. They later joined New Birth Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend George W. Pryor in the mid 1980's. She was a faithful member until she became a caregiver of her elderly mother.

She was a loyal employee of Bank of America until she retired.

Frances wore many hats. She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, caregiver and most of all an avid lover of sports. She was a Dallas Cowboy and Dallas Mavericks fanatic. Always cheering with the same vigor as she did when she was cheerleading for the Booker T. Bulldogs. Not only did Frances cheer from home, she coached as well!

She leaves behind her mother, Dorothy; husband, Jimme; five children, Sherry (Houston), Debbie (Steve) Fox, Jimmie III, Donna and Traci (Dallas), four grandsons, three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Thursday, September 6, 2012 11:00am at New Birth Baptist Church, 444 East Ledbetter Drive, Dallas, Texas
