Florine Dorsey was born on August 24, 1942 in Lindale, Texas to the parentage of Mr. Andy Dorsey and Mrs. Lena Adam Dorsey. She received her education at The Bragg Morris High School in Lindale. While attending school she gave birth to her first child, a son Jerry L. Dorsey.

Florine accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Believers Tabernacle (Dallas) and Full Gospel Holy Temple (Dallas).

In March 1964 she married Rev. Ocie F. McGee Jr. and to this union 3 children were born.

On Tuesday April 2, 2024 she was called home to paradise. She was preceded in death by her parents Andy & Lena Dorsey, Husband Rev. Ocie F. McGee Jr; and her baby girl Paulette Y. McGee; one Great Grandson Trevon Wiggins.

Florine was the 8th child oft of 9 children. They all preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 children-2 sons Jerry L. Dorsey of Oklahoma, Ocie F. McGee, III of Dallas and daughter LaRhonda McGee Alexander (Robert) of Dallas. 5 Grandchildren- Monique L. Sherman of McKinney, DeQuincy J. Lewis of Port Arthur, D'Anthony D. Sherman, Sr.  of Cedar Hill, Ocie F. McGee, IV of Louisiana and D'Marcus J. McGee of Lancaster; a host of relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
