Felton Louis Whitfield, 75y/o of DeSoto, Tx, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 10,2022 @ Methodist Charlton Medical Center, Dallas Tx.

Felton was born on November 12,1946 to parents, Gertrude (Washington) and Peter Whitfield, Jr. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He graduated from Capitol High School and attended Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was employed with and later retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, a subsidiary of AT&T. Following retirement from AT&T, he was employed with Dallas ISD and served on the Dallas County Grand Jury.

Felton accepted Jesus Christ, as his Lord and Savior, as a young child. His favorite scripture was Psalm 23. He was a devoted father, brother, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Peter Whitfield, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Todd Whitfield, Grand Prairie, Tx; one brother, Peter Whitfield, DeSoto, Tx; one sister, Gloria Ford (Silas), DeSoto, Tx; one grandson, Decorion Jackson, Lancaster, Tx, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
