Mr Evelyn L Proctor(Ned) was born November 17 1945 in Homer ,La to Johnny and Orlevia Proctor.  He joined and accepted Christ at Lane Chapel,CME at an early age where he served on the usher board He received his education in Homer La where he graduated from Mayfield High school . At age 17 he moved to Dallas Tx. He then served in the military(army) from 1968-70 as a tank technician which he fought in the Korean War .

1970-2009 worked at Kroger's as a meat cutter

1971 married Marian Proctor to this union four daughters

He was a devoted husband,father, grand father and great grand father and uncle He and his wife attended Truevine Missionary Baptist Church and People's United both  in Fort Worth TxChurch until his passing.

Parents Johnnie and Orlevia Proctor and brother Johnnie Proctor Jr. Preceded him in death.  He leaves to cherish his memories wife Marian Proctor sister Diane Proctor 4 daughters. Connie (Andrea) Avery, Cherie Proctor. Kichelle (Sammie ) turner, Kiesha (vernoyce) Simmons 11 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren all of Dallas Tx and a host of relatives and friends.
