Evangelist Hannah
Marcine Coble
June 10, 1934 – April 6, 2024
Evangelist Hannah Marcine Coble, affectionately known as "Sister," was called to her eternal home on April 6, 2024. Her journey began on June 10, 1934, when she was born to the parentage of Hannah Ward Heard and Willie Clifton Heard Sr in Emerson (Noxube, Columbia County), Arkansas. She was the 9th of 10 children. She met and married James Newton and 4 children were born to this union. Later the marriage was dissolved and she met and married Ronald Coble and 4 children were born in this union. They remained together until his death in 1996.
Hannah Coble attended schools in the Noxube community and also attended Walker High School in Columbia County, Arkansas. After training tirelessly to master her craft, Evangelist Coble was granted her Cosmetology license in 1959. She served her clientele with a humble heart before sowing the seeds of her own business, the Christian Beauty Shop. There she cultivated a legacy of service and support in Fort Worth, Texas. She also attended Dallas-Fort Worth Bible Institute and earned her associate degree in 2005.
Evangelist Coble's life was a testimony to the virtues of humility, grace, and boundless love. A beacon of light in her community, she lived a life steeped in the Christian faith, exemplifying gratitude and respect for all of God's creation. She opened her home to anyone with a need. With a heart that never met a stranger, she generously shared whatever she had with those around her.
Hannah's commitment to her faith was unwavering. She initially joined Gospel Temple CHSC under the leadership of Bishop E.L. McBride, dutifully served, and was called to evangelize. Her calling led her to establish a ministry, the Gospel Truth Christ Holy Sanctified Church, showering her flock with love and guidance from its inception in 1977 until her return to Fort Worth in 1999. She served as Pastor and Superintendent while ministering in Magnolia. She also served as pastor of Heard's Chapel for two years during this time. Additionally, she served as the National Prayer Chaplain of the Christ Holy Sanctified Church of America, Inc. until her health declined.
Among those who honor her memory are her children: Her daughters, Benita Newton (Fate) Jones, Tryphena (Gerold)Williams, Ronda (Derwin) West; Her step-daughter; Rose Bennet; Her daughter-in-law; Carmen Newton (Clayton); Her sons, Rodney Coble, David (Sorronda) Coble; Her stepson, Ronald Coble Jr.; Her son-in-law, Clifford Ransom (Rita); and a cherished lineage that includes 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; Her 2 God-daughters, Virginia Carr and Sandy Joubert-Wooten; Her special sister-in-Christ, Evangelist Arthurlene Gipson; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. They are all a testament to her loving influence.
Evangelist Coble now rejoins her beloved husband, Ronald Coble Sr., her two daughters, Rita Ransom and Pearlina Vanessa Martin, her son, Clayton Newton, her grandson, Andre Newton, her granddaughter, Elisha Harris, her parents, Hannah and Willie Clifton Heard, all of her siblings and many precious family members in the Kingdom of Heaven, leaving behind an enduring imprint of her soul's journey. Her memory shall be a sanctuary of inspiration and peace for all who were touched by her loving spirit.
