Eva Beatrice Carroll Massey's aka "Bea Bea" life could be categorized as "A Love Story." Her beautiful large eyes, gorgeous smile, signature "peace sign" and "God bless" was contagious. She loved the "Lord", her husband, Ty-run; her daughter, Imi; her son, Leonard; her "Grand"children, Iyana and Evan. She so loved the Lord, "taking a look in the Book", "listening to music, giving to all, and spending holidays with her family and friends. She loved "ACBC". She would shop until she dropped.
Eva was born June 18, 1955 to the loving parents of Leonard and Ida Carroll in Dallas, Texas. Bea was the 2nd child as well as the 2nd daughter of six children. She was beloved daughter and much loved sister. You did not mess with Bea Bea's siblings.
Eva accepted the Lord Jesus as her Savior at the Mount Zion Baptist Church. She later united with Allen Chapel Baptist Church and remained a faithful member for 51 years.
Tyrone Massey and Eva Carroll united in holy matrimony on April 14, 1975. They were married 44 years and were the parents to two children, Imi and Leonard and grandparents to Iyana and Evan.
She received her education in the Dallas ISD, graduating from "SOC" in 1973. She furthered her education at the El Centro College Nursing Program. Eva was "the best" R.N. this world had. She was employed at Mancuso Clinic, VA Hospital, Baylor Hospital and MHMR. At the time of her demise, she was serving as the Director of Nursing of the Naaman Community Health Services, Inc. for 16 years.
Eva was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Carroll, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Tyrone; mother, Ida Carroll; children, Imi and Leonard; grandchildren, Iyana and Evan; siblings, Linda Sanders, Virginia Griffin (Gary), Kenneth Carroll (Cherie), Sharon Diggs, and Leonard Carroll; and a Host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
