Obituary

Born July 23, 2001 To C. Dominique Gaddis & Sanyel J. Jones Sr., Essyance attended A.W Brown, where she participated in many extra-curricular activities like Dazzling Diamond Dance Club, Soccer, Volleyball, Girls to Women Enrichment Program and had a love for Science. Essyance was also a part of the Oak Cliff Jets where she was a cheerleader. Essyance enjoyed Ballet/Dance lesson at Mary Lois School of Dance in Desoto,Texas and En Pointe with Ms. Ursula Gibbs.

Essyance graduated from Life School in Waxahachie as her love and passion for Science continued. During her years at Life, Essyance was highly active in the Science Club, Choir and Color Guard. Essyance was extremely gifted in her studies. Continuing her education, Essyance was currently a student at Mountain View College, majoring in Foresic Science, while working at Chewy's Distribution Center.

Essyance received the Lord at an early age as a faithful member at The Potter's House, Dallas, Texas under the leadership of Bishop T.D Jakes. Later in life Essyance joined Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ, Dallas, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Reather M. McCowin-Washington. Essyance was very faithful in the youth Department and active in the 4-Life Mime Team.

Essyance departed this life on September 9, 2020 and is preceded in death by her grandfather, Sandy Jones, God-Mother Ollie Black and Great Grandparents Mirtelle and Eddie Gaddis.

Essyance leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, C. Dominique Gaddis of Desoto,TX, her father Sanyel Jones Sr of Desoto, TX, two brothers, Tryee Harris of Shreveport, LA and Sanyel Jones Jr. of Desoto, TX, one sister Madison Jones of Dallas, TX. Grandparents: Sharon and Henry Cole, of Desoto, TX and Brenda Jones, of Desoto, TX, Aunt Johnnae Cortez of Lancaster, TX, Aunt Alfreda (Gale) Johnson of Dallas, TX, Great Grandmother Arletha Hubbard of Dallas, TX and Great Grandmother Katherine Jackson of Pittsburgh, PA.

Special acknowledgment; Travis Lincoln and family, Dorothy Davenport, Davion Henderson, Alexis Look (Best friend 4ever), Tiffany Washington and Rajai Smith. Essence also leaves to cherish her memories a host of uncle, aunts, cousins, and friends. Her life will be cherished in those that loved her. She made an impact in the lives of the people that knew her.
