Ernest G Ruiz, 64, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2022 at his place of residence. He was born March 25, 1958 in Dallas, TX at St. Paul Hospital and was the last son of Thomas and Herminia Ruiz. Ernest was the baby sibling of Frank, Rick, Tom, and Mary Jesse. After being introduced to hot rods by his brothers, Ernest grew to have a passion for muscle cars. He later shared that passion with his son, Zachary.

Ernest got married to Tonya on March 25, 1993 and was married for over 20 years. Of that loving marriage, they had their son, Zachary and daughter, Monise. Ernest was a devoted father. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and racing with his son. He was a devout Christian. Ernest loved reading the bible, praying for and with others, spending time with his family, laughing and always wearing a smile on his face.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness and humbleness.

Ernest is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Herminia. He is survived by his three children, Zachary Ruiz, Monise Ruiz, and Monica Canales; his daughter-in-law, Valerie Ruiz; his grandchildren, Aiden, Naomi, Hailey, Sebastian, Andrew, and Gilbert; his siblings, Frank, Rick, Tom and Mary Jesse; his nieces, Selena, Donna, Yolanda; and his nephews, Rick Jr., Anthony, Marshall and Thomas.
