Ella Mae McPike Miller, formerly of Lawrence transitioned from earth to glory on January 18, 2015. She was born in Lawrence July 8, 1929 the daughter of Charles and Edythe McPike. She attended Lawrence public schools and Lincoln University in Jefferson, MO. She married Roffle Miller on January 5, 1951. They moved to Cedar Hill, TX in 2002. He preceded her in death in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son Roffle, Jr and daughter Linda Marie. She leaves to honor her life her sons Thomas (Wendy), Pembroke Pines, Fl; Randy, Gonic, NH; John (Vicki), Lawrence, KS; Steven (Shelley), Merriam, KS; her daughters Gayle (Alan)Sims, Cedar Hill, TX; Brenda, San Diego, CA; Anita (David) Sims,Dallas, TX; Patricia (Mitchell) Davis, Newberry Park, CA; Christina (Larry) Graham, Springfield, MA; and Edythe, Lawrence, KS. She also leaves 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services honoring her life will be heldSaturday,February 7, 2015 12:30pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 University Hills Blvd., Dallas, TX. Her request was to be cremated.
