On April 7, 2021 Ella Mae Malone received her "Heavenly" wings.
Ella Mae Malone was born on March 18, 1937 to Phillip and Zepha Mae Thompson. Ella received her education at Terrell ISD. She was a domestic worker for years for the Newman's before she retired.
Ella Mae met and married the love of her life Harvey Lee Malone on May 9,1962, after his return from the military. To this union two children were born, Kelton and Sondra.
'Ella gave her life to God at an early age. She was a very dedicated member at Egypt Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Tommy C. McGee. Ella help start the Usher's Ministry at Egypt Chapel and then formed the Youth Usher's Ministry where she gave her all and all. Ella loves the Lord, her children, family, and of course "Bingo".
Ella was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Lee Malone, her parents Phillip and Zepha Mae Thompson, brothers, Billy Ray Thompson, Vester Thompson, and Fred Lee Thompson.
Ella leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her legacy son, Kelton Ray Malone, daughter, Sondra Lee Wilkerson (Ken Wilkerson); grandchildren Khalen,Khristian, and Roman; sisters Helen Hunter (Floyd, deceased), Carolyn Sharper (Willie, deceased), Ginnie V. Williams (Billy, deceased); brother, Jerry Thompson; Godsons, Wayland Thompson and Devodrick Finch; two special friends Dr. Tommy C. McGee (Alice); a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
