Obituary

Elizabeth Gelola Washington affectionately known as "GiGi" and "Liz" respectively to family and friends, was the youngest of four children born to the parentage of Lawrence R. Johnson, Sr. and Jimmie R. Johnson in Dallas, Texas on January 9, 1958.
She was a graduate of the Class of 1976-South Oak Cliff High School, Dallas, Texas. Elizabeth studied at both the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. and University of Texas at Arlington.  She worked as a Project Office Analyst at DAVAACO.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  In addition to serving her church family she served as a Discussion Leader for Dallas Southwest Women's Class of Bible Study Fellowship International for 15 years.
On February 5, 2000, Elizabeth married the love of her life, Mr. Frederick L. Washington.
She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband, Frederick L. Washington; Mother Mrs. Jimmie R. Johnson; two brothers, Rev. Kenneth W. Johnson (Sarah), Lawrence R. Johnson, Jr.; one sister, Patricia Lewis (Rickey); eleven "special" nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
