LIFE REFLECTIONS
Elizabeth "Liz" Lenore Johnson was born on January 29,1959 in Dallas, Texas to George W. Johnson and Ruth Mae Johnson.
Liz grew up in South Dallas, attended Lincoln High School and later on attained her GED. She was the eldest daughter of six children. She held her big sister title proudly. At a young age, she stepped up and help out more than usual as her mother struggled with an illness throughout their childhood. She was a part of an commissioned security officer program, a security officer and worked odd jobs to make ends meet. She battled many demons but was able to overcome them by turning her life over to God and attended Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and Antioch Fellowship Church.
To know her was to love her. She had an impressionable personality and was the life of the party. A few words to describe this phenomenal woman: tough, funny, selfless, dependable, stubborn, straight shooter, smart, caring, vivacious, quick-tempered, sharp-witted, a take no mess kinda gal. She had a love for cats, cooking, eating a good meal, listening to music and dancing. She will fondly be remembered as a great mother, grandmother, sister, friend and would take the shirt off her back to anyone in need.
Liz departed this life on December 10, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father George W. Johnson, mother Ruth Mae Johnson. Brothers, Peter Johnson and Julian "Steve" Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her son Gary Johnson and daughter Deneesha and Jamaal Thompson. Grandchildren David, Azariah, Charles "CJ" and Jalil. Her beloved sisters Georgette and Dan Ayers, Philippa Johnson, and Phillicia and Darryl Lynch. Nieces and nephews Deserae Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Tyrone and Shanica Johnson and Monique Johnson. She is also survived by more relatives and a host of friends she considers extended family.

We love you and miss you dearly!
