He was added to the body of Christ at Marsalis Avenue Church of Christ.
Left to cherish his memories: wife, Janice Smith Newton; daughter, Gena Williams, sons, Tyrant (Angela) Edwards, Laron Mitchell, Lance (Tania) Mitchell, Laurence Mitchell; stepdaughter, Alana (John) Babiarz; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The homegoing celebration will commence on Saturday, September 29, 2012 12:30pm Marsalis Avenue Church of Christ.
