Elder Otis
James Holloway, Sr.
December 11, 1942 – August 5, 2023
Otis James Holloway Sr. was born on December 11, 1942, in Fort Worth, Tx. to the parents of Otis Holloway Jr and Ora Lee Crow- Holloway. As a child, he attended Dallas Independent School District.
He met and Married Annie Mae Cyrus on February 9th, 1963. From this union, four children were born.
Otis James Holloway Sr. worked for Transcon Freight Line, and Dallas Tollway for several years, and then after, he and his wife ran a successful daycare business called All God's Children Daycare Center. He then retired from North Texas Tollway.
Otis James Holloway Sr. received Christ at a young age. He served faithfully at True Holiness House of Prayer as Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Elder F.L. Cyrus. He was known for his anointed voice, and many believed that he was one of the greatest soloists of all time. He later joined Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Roy L Smith and served as a faithful member until the time of his passing.
Preceding him in death: his daughters, Jacqueline Davis, and Angela Nicholson; and granddaughter, Tiffany Davis.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are his loving, devoted, and beautiful wife of 60 years, Annie Mae Holloway; two children, Regina Lofton (Undra) and Otis Holloway, Jr. (Delorise); eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, 5 loving siblings, and a host of other relatives and friends.
