Efrem Lynn "Skip" Robinson affectionately called Bop Bop by his Grandchildren, was born September 26, 1961, in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Ardis and the late Barbara Mayfield-Robinson. Efrem entered into eternal rest on Thursday April 6,2023 surrounded by family.
He graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas and briefly attended Prairie View A&M University.
He was married to Rhonda Mitchell for 40 years and to this union two children were born Efren II and Brittni
Efrem accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Progressive Baptist Church. He was a faithful member of Friendship-West Baptist Church for 31 years where he served in many capacities over those years such as Praise Team, Mass Choir, James C. Holmes Male Chorus, Operation BLACC and the Deacons Ministry.
Efrem's occupations included Blue Cross Blue Shield, Baylor Hospital System, car and insurance sales.
Efrem was an avid sports fan. He loved all Dallas sports teams and would cheer them on win or lose. He enjoyed men's fashion and trying new restaurants. Efrem never met a stranger. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Efrem Leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Rhonda: his son Efrem (Nikki) Robinson II: his daughter Brittni (Maurice) Robinson-Newman.
His Father Ardis Robinson, 2 Sisters Mitzi (Robert) Green and Tracey (James) Baker-Muhammad: 3 Sister-In-Laws Laura Masters, Angela (Willie Jr.) Smith and Robyn (Richard) Diaz: 1 Brother In Law William (Syreeta) Mitchell.
His 10 Nieces and Nephews, Tommy Jordan, Alec (Kimberly) Smith, Michael Smith, Nicholas Masters, Evan Smith, Sydney Smith, Jamaal Muhammad, Madisyn Mitchell, Jacsyn Mitchell, Richard Diaz and a host of other relatives and special friends.
