Edward Stewart's Obituary
Edward Ted Stewart was born November 1, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Benjamin Stewart, and Christine Vaughn which preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by seven brothers: James Brown, J. D. Jones, Carl Jones, Rufus Jones, Curlee Jones, Henry Stewart, and Arthur Stewart. He received his education in the Dallas Independent School District and finished from James Madison High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of The Church of the Living God throughout his life.
Edward was employed with the City of Dallas for 20 years and retired from Duncanville Independent School District after 15 years of service.
Edward leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy: Daughters: Sherry Stewart, Sylvia Stewart, LaTonya Stewart and Cassie Stewart; Sons: Elwood Stewart, Carl Steward, Ronald Stewart, and Winfred Stewart; Edward has 21 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren; Delois Stewart, and Carolyn Sheffield; Sisters: Patsy Hawkins, Cora Hurd, and Rosie Beasley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
