Obituary

Earnest Delbert Ross was born March 25, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Mildred Parker Ross. He is the oldest of five children. He confessed Christ at an early age.

Earnest attended primary school at Dallas public schools. He graduated from Hamilton Park High School in 1959 and upon graduation he attended North Texas College on a football scholarship.

Earnest met Doris Boston and to that union 2 daughters were born Chandra Tynisa and Kimberly Dawn. Earnest then met the love of his life Cynthia Brightmon where they shared a wonderful blended family of 5 children for 23 years.

Earnest worked for 38 years as a Youth Action Specialist for Dallas Independent School District. He retired from D.I.S.D in 2003. He also worked security for Pinkerton/Securitas until his departure.

Mr. Earnest D. Ross, in his 76th Season, peacefully dozed into eternal rest Sunday Afternoon, June 11, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Ross; father, Robert Ross; brother, Robert Louis; and sister, Arlane Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his memories a beloved wife, Cynthia; two daughters, Chandra Henry (Galen), and Kimberly Ross; three sons, Paulus Clark (Keisha), Sam Turner (Ashley), and Brian Turner; two brothers, Ronald Ross and Larry Ross; grandchildren, Marco, Terrica, Jalen, Javen, Ashton, Addisyn, Breohna, Tazaria, Serenity, Brian Jr. "BJ", Messiah, and Harley, a host of other family and friends.
