Dwain Douglas Dorsey was born on April 17, 1949 the second of seven children to the late Marvin & Betty Dorsey.  He attended  Franklin D. Roosevelt Class of 1967-1968.

He attended Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship where he remained until his health began to fail.

Dwain was employed with Zale  Corporation, and later worked for Toyota of Richardson for 20 years and retiring in 2016 where he served as  a Fleet Manager where he was dedicated to his calling.

In 1976 he united with the love of his life Barbara Dorsey raising Cara, Emily and Ryan.

Dwain is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Barbara, Daughter Cara Deweese, 2 Brothers:  Alton Dorsey & Robert Spenser.

Dwain leaves to cherish his memories Daughter: Emily Bishop, Grandsons: Ryan Jeter(Heather), Douglas Robertson and Carlton Wigley; Granddaughters: Anna Lee Clark, Lauren Deweese, Great Grandchildren who were the love of his life Crosby & Bennett Jeter; 3 Sisters: Ambra Smith, Marlena  Eley, and Regina Reed; Brother: Reginald Dorsey (Denise); Aunt: Clotel Adams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very Special Friends: Barbara Boyd, Earl Weathersl, Terry Flowers, Danny Pegues, Roy Burns and Jay Adkins.
