Age 73 a Longview, Texas Native passed away. Douglas is affectionately known as "Bubba" by his family, and "Papa" by his grandchildren. Douglas was the oldest of 10 children born to Douglas & Pearlie Mae Jackson, Sr. Douglas was a Welder at Lebus. Douglas enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time spoiling his grandchildren and being with his family.
Douglas leaves to cherish his memory a Loving Wife: Helen Jackson, Children: Wayne Jackson, Helena Jackson, Antonio Jackson, and Angera Jackson, 8 Grandchldren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers; 3 Sisters and a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 3-9pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home.

Home-Going Celebration will be held at 12:30pm on Satuday, November 26, 2016 Pleasant Hill CME 1141 FM 449 Longview, Texas 75605. Burial will immediately follow.
