Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant

Dorothy Marie Wafer was born November 14, 1960, to the late Isaac and Marszella Buchanan Sr. in Dallas, TX.

Dorothy attended North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, TX, class of 1979. She attended Eastfield Community College where she received her Associates Degree and Certification for Dental Assistant. She dedicated her time and skills ensuring everyone received a beautiful smile. Not only did she wear a smile, she leaves a legacy of feistiness and style. To know her, is to know that she loves her cheetah and animal prints. Dorothy enjoyed friendly games of bingo as well as family cruises to spend quality time with love ones.

On May 6, 1994, Dorothy united in matrimony with Lee Wafer. Through their union a beautiful blended family was formed.

On June 17, 2022, at 1:26 AM, Dorothy reached out to the angels, who escorted her to be with the Lord, where there is no more sorrow, sickness, and pain. She is preceded in death by her parents: Isaac and Marszella Buchanan Sr.; maternal grandparents Arthur and C.G. Beachum Sr.; paternal grandparents Jesse and Lovie Buchanan; brother Isaac Buchanan Jr., and two nieces, LaShundria and LuKeshia Beachum.

Dorothy leaves to cherish in her memory: husband Lee Wafer; one brother Luke Beachum Sr.; two daughters Enesha Golden and Lovie (Tederro "TD") Hewitt; three sons Keaton Wafer, Levail (Casey) Wafer, and SeDarius Holder; nine grandchildren: Tederro "Fat Daddy" Hewitt Jr., D'Irie Nickerson, Robert "Tre" Jenkins III, Isiah Jenkins, Angelina Wafer, Malina Wafer, Kamila Wafer, Anakin Holder, Mila Holder, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss her tremendously.
