Dorothy Louise Chumbley was born on September 4, 1944, In
Longview, Texas. She lived a life fulfilled as a devoted wife and daughter,
compassionate sister, nurturing mother, wonderful grandmother, great
grandmother and trusted friend.
She resided in Dallas, Texas and retired from Texas Instrument after
working over thirty years. A faithful member of New Mount Moriah
Missionary Baptist Church where she participated on the usher board.
She is preceded in death by her parents Oscar Minor and Eula May
Johnson- Minor : 2 sisters Ruby Minor and Beverly Mae McNeal;
2 brothers Richard Minor, James Mahummad and ex-husband X.L
Chumbley.
She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sons David & Lawrence (Adrienae)
Chumbley of Dallas, Texas 4 grandchildren Simone, LaVonshe, Lydaruis
and DaVion, 9 great grand children. 6 sisters Sandra Nadean Levy, Mary
Sheppard, Velma Shipmon, Debra Minor, Durenda Miller and Annie
May McNeal Roberson, 1 brother Bilal and Sharee Muhammad , and a
host of nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends
