Obituary

Doris Simmons" Kelly was born on Nov 10, 1945, in Leyte, Philippines
and departed on her homeward journey July 8, 2025.  She was preceded in death
by her husband Mervin Kelly, mother Aurelia Mamac, Father Melvin Simmons,
and brother Douglas Simmons.


On Sept 26, 1964, she married her soulmate Mervin "Billy" Kelly, and they had
four children:  Chris, Gina, Mike and Anita. Throughout their marriage, they lived
in Pennsylvania, New York, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and Arizona.


Doris was a faithful Christian woman who was kind and generous and always
willing to help anyone and everyone. Doris worked for the Social Security
Administration for 30 years where she blessed countless lives and made great,
lifelong friends. She was a beautiful woman - full of fun and personality.
someone who lit up a room with her presence.


Doris lived her life to the fullest and by her own rules. She loved flowers,
gardening, crafting and cooking.  Doris loved to  visit casinos and travel
worldwide. Doris was an adventurer who was always on the go - flying and
driving across the country. Grammy D, as she was known to many, adored her
grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loved woman who will be
greatly missed.


She leaves to celebrate her life: sister Yvonne; brothers Carl and Ricardo; sons
Chris and Mike; daughters Gina and Anita; Sons-in-law Anthony and James.
daughter-in-law Julie; Grandchildren Fielder, Cain, Courtney, Tony, Maycen,
Michael, Cohen, and Aidan; Great Grandchildren Campbell, Reese, Caiden, Crew
and Malia.

The legacy you left is a garden of joy; your memory blooms without end.
