Doris Marie Byrd was born on August 31, 1948 in Mandeville, Arkansas to the parentage of Willie and Mary Bruce, Jr.
She was a faithful member of The Potter's House Church of Dallas, Texas. The Lord called her to her heavenly home on November 9, 2012.
She was an educator in the Dallas Independent School District for 18 years.
Her memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
The homegoing celebration will commence on Friday, November 16, 2012 11:00am at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home.
