Obituary

A beautiful baby girl was born to the late Deacon Lewis Bradley and Margaretta Fielder Bradley in Ringgold, Louisiana and they named her Dora Mae. She was the baby of five girls that grew up in a Christian filled home. Dora confessed Christ at the New Star Baptist Church in Ringgold, Louisiana

Dora met and married the love of her heart, the Bobby Gene Roberson and relocated to Dallas, Texas and united with Shady Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend L.J Batty.

She was a devoted and dedicated Sunday School member and loved singing and playing the piano for the church. Dora was a devoted wife, mother and a faith mission worker, musician and choir member. Dora was a soft spoken lady with so many talents from sewing to baking her delicious pies, cakes and tea cakes. A compassionate heart always ready to share and serve her fellowman.

She received her formal education at Ringgold Colored High School and attended El Centro Community College and graduated with a Nursing degree in 1975.

Dora was employed and retired from Charlton Methodist Medical Center as a Registered Nurse.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby and her siblings Cleotra Bradley Miles, Earnestine Bradley Martin, Clementine Bradley Miles and her daughter-In-Law Janice Roberson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted daughter and son, Linda Faye Berkins and Kenneth Earl Roberson, three grandchildren, Shayla Racquel Berkins, Kendra Jenea Roberson and Jairus Roberson, one sister Elvera Bradley Watson of Monroe, Louisiana. Two sisters-In-Laws, Dottie Gipson and Clydies Oates. Brother-in-laws, Delmon Ray (Addie) Roberson of Dallas, Texas: Oliver (Clara) Roberson of Dallas, Texas and Theodis (Betty) Roberson of Ringgold, Louisiana. A special nephew, Lawrence (Dorothy)Miles of Rowlett, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
