Donald Warren (Danny as he we so affectionally called) transitioned to his heavenly home on September 6, 2022. Danny was born on November 2, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Oliver and Oneida Warren. Danny accepted Christ at an early age. Danny was married to Sarah (Jones), and a daughter was born in this union, Traneshia. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Oliver Warren, and brothers Cleavester, James, Robert, and Larry.
Danny is survived by his loving mother, Oneida, daughter, Traneshia Parker (Sherman) of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Castille and Reid Parker, and brothers, Ricky and Tony; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Danny was genuine and authentic and had a way with words! He was one of the coolest people you could ever meet. Children loved him, and adults flocked to him because he had a heart of gold.
He was a car enthusiast, owning many vehicles, from classic cars to motorcycles to sports cars. Danny retired from decades of working with the City of Dallas. He worked hard and loved his job and the guys he worked with. After a hard day's work, it was customary for him to come to Big Mama's house and walk through the house with his daughter attached to one of his legs (like a koala bear) as he washed the dirt and grime of a hard day's work from his hands. He never tired of his family and was as loyal as they came. You could find Danny at Glendale Park chopping it up in his leisure time with his friends.
He will surely be missed by all he encountered, his special touch, but can now rest easy as he takes his journey to our Father's House to be with his Brothers.
