Sister Dollie M. Jackson Williams was born in Ferris, Texas on March 10, 1928 to the parentage of the late Sam Jackson and Blanchie Hunnicutt Jackson.
Sis. Williams accepted Christ early in life and was baptized by the late Rev. D.J. Jennings on Friendship Baptist Church Ferris, Texas.â Later she received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late Elder H. Washington of Christ's Temple Church of God in Christ. And in 1984, she united with Greater Parkside Church under the leadership of the late Elder Leroy Jackson (brother) for many years and from there Sis. Williams became a member of Temple of Truth Church of God in Christ (Lancaster, Texas) under the leadership of Pastor Elder John Sargent where she was a faithful member before her health began to fail her.
Sister Williams met the love of her life, Jesse Lee Williams, before he joined the United States Army and on his return home after serving his country. On April 19, 1974, she was united in holy matrimony to her soul mate of 66 years, the late Deacon Jesse Lee Williams, and to this union three daughters were born..
On September 30, 2017, Sister Dollie M. Williams answered her Master's call with her daughters and granddaughter, Lashon, at her bedside. Sister Dollie Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Blanchie Jackson; her husband and soulmate, Decon Jesse Lee Williams; three brothers, Mr. Ossie "O.L." Jackson, Mr. Oddie "Buddy" Jackson and Mr. Elder Leroy Jackson (Bettye) and one sister, Mable Johnson.
Sister Dollie Williams leaves in God's capable hands: three daughters, Miss Margie Lee Williams, Mrs. Dorothy M. Polk (Matthew), Mrs. Doris A. Simmons (Terry); two granddaughters, Lashon Williams and Lakisha Mathis; one grandson, Raymun Floyd; 2 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters; two brothers, Brother Roger Jackson and Mr. Roosevelt Jackson and a host of relatives and friends.
