Diane Sanders Williams, age 76, peacefully departed this life on December 26, 2024.

Born on September 12, 1948, in Kildare, TX, Diane was the cherished daughter of Leonard "Buddy" Sanders, Sr., and Cordia Mae Sanders. She became a member of St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church in Kildare, TX, at an early age, where she sang in the choir for many years. She graduated from Fairview High School and pursued higher education at Texarkana College. Diane dedicated much of her professional life to federal service, beginning her career at Lone Star Ammunition Plant before joining Red River Army Depot, where she retired after 27 years of exemplary service. After a brief retirement, she continued to work with the Law Offices of Fuller & Eason/Good Adjusting for 15 years before retiring again to focus on her greatest joys—her family and hobbies.

Diane loved spending time with her grandchildren, Blair and Zachary, whom she adored. She took great pride in being the family historian. Diane also enjoyed coin collecting, connecting with her friends on Facebook, watching her favorite TV shows, solving crossword puzzles to keep her mind sharp, and taking occasional trips to Choctaw casinos.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, James Williams; her daughters, Paige Young and Latoya Sanders; and her stepchildren, Ro'Sherel Williams, Sha-On Williams, Fitzgerald Williams (Alma), and Trena Williams. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings: Opal Walker (Bennie), Kay Williams
(Carl), Leonard "Mike" Sanders, Jr. (Nancy), Shirley Mitchell,
and Bonetia Carol Williams, as well as many extended family
members and friends who will deeply miss her.
