Diane Ja

ckson was born to Sarah Ann King and Fred Smith. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior
and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Burt Roy, Jr.
Diane began her education in the Dallas Independent School District and later graduated from Seagoville High School
in 1975. Between 1975 and 1980, she worked in retail fashion with Haggar. In 1980, she began her career in mortgage
banking, working first with Bank One and later with JP Mortgage Company/Chase Bank.

family reunions, and always put her family first. She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, and a woman who could light
up any room with her warmth and spirit.

were blessed with one daughter, Sheree Jackson. In addition, Diane lovingly helped raise five other children: LaShell,
Glenda, Margaret, Roderick, and James.
On February 26, 2026, Diane gained her wings and entered eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Sarah Ann King and Fred Smith, and her sister, Beulah Mae Brown. Diane was loved by so many family members and
friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her memory will be cherished forever by her loving husband, Ollie Lee Jackson; her daughter, Sheree Jackson; her
sisters, Paulette King and Sharon Jones; her brothers, Fred King, Robert King, Calvin Mackey, and Paul King; her
