Born November 13, 1974, Derrick Lamont Norwood filled the lives of everyone he touched with love and laughter.

The first and only born child of J T and Lora Norwood, Derrick graduated from Everman High School in Ft. Worth, Texas.

A member of Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church, Derrick was employed at Martin Transportation Systems in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Derrick was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Pearline Francis and Olivia Norwood.

Loved ones cherishing his memory are: his parents, J T and Lora Norwood; wife, Gwendolyn Jones; sons, Keenan Norwood and Gabriel Jones; sister, Vernie Norwood and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
