Derrick Shane Jones Jr.  was born on May 13, 1991 to the parents of Derrick Shane Jones Sr.  and Sherese LaShawn Jones in Dallas, Texas.  He received his education in the Dallas Independent School District and was a graduate of Cedar Hill High School.   He gave his life to Christ at an early age while attending Full Gospel Tabernacle of Dallas.  He continued in his faith as a member of Grace Temple Community Church of Dallas.

Derrick Shane Jones Jr was a loving, kindhearted giving strong young man who truly loved the Lord, He was a pillar of strength to his family that kept us with love and laughter.   The joy of his life was his love for God, his family and praise and worship. He loved playing his keyboard and his tambourine. Always making a joyful noise unto the Lord.  He was always willing to be helpful.
