Deon was born June 28th, 1973, in Pineville, LA. He graduated from Avoyelles High in 1992, he also attended Northeastern La University (now known as University of Louisiana at Monroe. He became a registered member of The Nation of Islam on January 1st, 1994, then at Saviours' Day 1996 he received the name Muhammad from The Most Honorable Min. Louis Farrakhan.

Deon loved to go fishing and he also loved to watch college football, especially LSU and Michigan (Go Big Blue).

In 1997 he married Tionne Gooden (Alasiah) after meeting 4 years earlier. During 26 years of marriage 3 sons were born and 2 grandchildren.

Deon was a wonderful Father, son, husband, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend, brother etc.…
