On September 19, 2021, Dennis Fisher received his wings and was ushered into his heavenly place. Born March 16, 1941, Dennis was a loving Father, Grandfather, "Paw-Paw", and "Pops" who lived every day of his life making sure those he loved and those who he called friends had just a little sunshine in every day. Born in Forney, Texas to the Union of Lee Roy Fisher and Enola (Lightsey) Fisher, Dennis always knew what the word Family meant. He carried a deep love for his family and his faith. Educated in the public school systems in both Dallas and Oklahoma, Dennis was quick to brag about the extraordinary skills he demonstrated at both Football and Track... though no record of his achievements exists (LOL!). Dennis was a proud alum of Southern University and made sure all his kids knew the power of an education. Dennis was frequently found with his Grandson Christopher as they travelled the country together. Whether academic honor or athletic achievement, you could always spot Paw- Paw up in the stands cheering wildly, beaming proudly with his chest pumped out. At the end of his 34 year tenure with the Procter & Gamble company, Dennis founded Fisher's Tax Service to fill a need in his community. This business became a cornerstone of the neighborhood and continues a needed service in Oak Cliff, Texas. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers and two sisters. He leaves behind to cherish his legacy, two Sisters, Shirley "Marie" Lewis and Mary Wilkerson; four children, Tim, Paul (Karen), Connie (Randy) and Courtney (Jake), a host of Nieces and Nephews; 11Grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and numerous friends and associates.
